Smarter feather classification
AI-assisted sorting brings more visible control to a traditional process.
A manufacturing partner behind the RXY shuttlecock range has introduced an AI-assisted hyperspectral feather sorting system to support the classification of natural feathers.
The system is presented as an additional production tool for recognising differences in feather curvature, density and visible defects. It can help operators organise raw feathers into more consistent groups before assembly, an important step when flight feel and repeat-order consistency depend on many small material differences.
Evidence note: This update is based on material published by the RXY brand on 26 July 2026. The equipment is used within a cooperating manufacturing system; it is not presented as owned by Jiangxi Jiujiang Technology Co., Ltd. Performance improvements have not yet been independently validated by us.
